Activities
Tromsø Outdoor offers many nature and culture-based activities all year-round in Tromso and the surrounding area. We offer exciting outdoor arctic activities in the Tromsø area, like bike and hikes trips, skiing, snowshoeing, snow adventures! All activities are led by experienced, local guides, who put your safety first. In the summer we run our E-bike trips 2 times daily, and in the winter we have a wide range of ski and snowshoe trips running every day.
Hire of bikes and outdoor equipment
We hire equipment for your nature-based adventures during summer and winter alike. Our product range includes touring ski, XC-ski, snowshoes, roadbikes, trekkingbikes, citybikes, terrainbikes, tents, cooking equipment, clothing, footwear and much more.
In the summer we supply both private guests and tour operators with bikes from Kirkenes in the north to Bergen in the south. We have 250 bikes ready for rent in Tromsø, and use Hurtigruten to send bikes to 33 different destinations along the Norwegian coast.

Outdoor Shop
In our shop in Tromsø we sell the outdoor equipment utilised for our trips and events, which provides a customer guarantee that these are good quality products and that we hand first-hand knowledge about the use and maintenance of these products. We also sell hiking maps for Tromsø – Lofoten area, gas cartridges and fuel from Primus and second hand equipment after ending season(bikes in September and ski/snowshoes in May).

Our main activity/rental center and office is situated in the midle of Tromsø centre, the “Capital of the Arctic2, in Sjøgata 14, between Radisson Blu Hotel and the market place.
